just wanna know... if your ceremony started at 2:00.. DID IT REALLY?
We have to start at 1:00. there's another wedding at 2:30 and there are pictures i WANT to take at the church and we'll need time plus I have to do a receiving line (um.. HOW LONG DOES THAT TAKE FOR ABOUT 75-100ppl?)
I plan on being in the party bus pulled upto the church by 12:45.. if guests are standing outside the church taking their time.. I have no problem getting out of the bus at 12:55 and lining up with them standing there... they'll feel like an idiot for not thinking!
I HAVE to have the first BP couple on the aisle at 1:00....

Re: married ladies- DID YOU START ON TIME??
Ceremony time was 4 we started the processional at like 5 or 10 after...
if someone showed up while we were waiting to go in they let them in the church through the side door...

Re: married ladies- DID YOU START ON TIME??
we started about 15 mins late due to some difficulties (one of our witnesses to sign the ketubah & marriage license was nowhere to be found)

I *think* so. At that point, I wasn't checking my watch.
If we started late it was only by maybe 5 minutes and NOT MY FAULT. DH swore I was going to be late to the church.
ETA: The receiving line went pretty quickly. I want to say we had 50-75 people at the church and it wasn't bad at all! It's mostly just a hug and a thank you for coming! My MOH was the only one holding up the line, she was crying her eyes out!

Right? I had no idea. Time ceased to matter to me at that point.
All I know is we were running perfectly on time once we got on the bus and everything. We were delayed for about 5-10 minutes because the Coach bus was late- arriving at the same time we did. So I had to wait on the bus while the family went in.

the only reason i know is that it was mentioned to me by someone at some point .... otherwise, i'd have no idea

ours was 330 and i walked down the aisle about 345 (i know cuz there was a church clock in some of the pics), so i assume we formally started about 340

Re: married ladies- DID YOU START ON TIME??
Our Church was VERY gracious to let us begin at 2:00PM. They have confession at 3PM on Saturdays...we are doing a full Catholic mass and a receiving line. We will be marching down that aisle at 1:59.
