Sorry this is totally stupid but can someone explain to me the who marriage license thing.
I know I have to go to Town Hall to get the license but then after that what do I do with it? I'm getting married at a church....do I bring it there? when? when do you sign it?

You bring it to the church on the day of hte wedding. The officiant will fill it out and mail it back to the town, who will then send you your marriage license.

You go to town hall and fill out some paperwork. Then they mail you your offiicial license. I had to bring mine to the church rehearsal, and we and the witnesses signed it there.

We had to bring ours to the Rehearsal as well--make sure you bring it then, they will probably have the witnesses (MOH and BM) sign it that day, so you don't have to worry about it the next day!
