on the day of your wedding. I was SO calm, it was unbelieveable. My hairdresser has been doing my hair since I was in HS. On the morning of my wedding, she said she knew I would be calm but she was floored by how calm I was. I was cool as a cucumber throughout the day. I think I knew in my heart that I was marrying my soulmate, and we did everything we could do beforehand to ensure a good day.

Re: Married ladies, were you calm or nervous...
I was very calm. and SO happy! I couldn't wait for it to get here.
Everyone kept telling me they had never seen a bride so calm before and that I must have been taking something
Nope, it was an all natural high

I was calm and then as soon as I pulled up to the church I got so nervous and couldn;t breathe. i started to tear up and cry nervously. Then I got a hold of myself and was fine the rest of the day.

I was completely calm! Except for one point right before I started to walk down the aisle when my dad started to cry....I cried a little. But after that I was completely calm and relaxed!

I had some butterflies in my stomach the morning of, but on the way to the church I was surprisingly calm. Then, when it was time to walk down the aisle, a wave of joy came over me and I have never ever experienced anything like it. The best word I can come up with is EXUBERANT. That's how I felt.

I was calm...which was a HUGE accomplishment because A LOT was going wrong. I guess I had to be calm because a lot of those who were around me weren't so calm.

Re: Married ladies, were you calm or nervous...
when I woke up that morning I was completely calm. Just took things in and enjoyed awaiting the hair and makup artist. THAN....
I get a phone call from my than FH that he has my missing BM!!!!!
She was first for hair.. and hair lady already at my house. Instead of coming to my parents house in LI she came to my house in queens!!
Once I got into the limo with my FH, and the BP, I was completely calm and happy to leave my NUT HOUSE behind!!!!
Exept for when I cried at Leonards, I was pretty much calm most of the wedding day.

I'm with you sister! I'm so stressed out right now that it's not even funny. I'm getting headaches all the time.

I was calm, but minutes before the ceremony everybody left me ALONE in the bridal room at the church and I freaked out. Excited and happy, but I looked at myself in a full-length mirror and started to cry. I peeked out the door hoping for a friendly face. My FBIL was there!

I freaked out a little the week or so before the wedding because of all I had to do, then my cousin died.... It was a stressful week!
The day of I was pretty calm until we were running REALLY late (my hair wasn't done until 10:20 and Photographer got there @ 9 and Limo was there @ 10:15. I felt relief when we got to the church @ 10:58 (start @ 11).

I was feeling very stressed a few weeks before the wedding. The nerves stopped on the Wed before (I got married on a Fri) which coincided with my last day at work! You will be fine, breathe and enjoy the process!
I was 'cool as a cucumber' as my mom would say. I was so happy that I didnt cry at all and I was just so ready to get married that the nerves never came.

Getting ready I was very calm and happy. When we pulled up to the church I got REALLY nervous! I was trying not to cry.. walking down the aisle I though I was going to pass out. After we did our vows I was fine and had a wonderful time.
