Were you happy with your alterations? Please share with me your experience and who your seamstress was. Thanks so much.
I was happy, I went three times and even did some custom work (added beading and crystals along the neckline). They did a nice job. I did explain myself very clearly and they had to fix one small thing at my final fitting. Sorry I don't remember who my seamstress was, at my first fitting they told me I would have the same one for all my fittings, but I had a different one all three times and honestly it wasn't a big deal, they all were nice and did what i wanted.
I'm scheduled to start my fittings there aug 28, ill let you know how it goes!
I've only gone to one fitting at the Bridal Reflections in Massepequa. They said I had their head seamtress so maybe they use the same people as carle place. To be honest, my first fitting wasn't great. I couldn't understand what she was saying very often because of her accent and she didn't really listen to anything I said. She kept talking over me. She just told me that I don't have enough boobs for the dress even though I'm a C-cup and then said that the dress fit fine even though I could slide it off down over my hips to take it off even when it was still fully 'closed'. I had to ask for my original sales girl to come in and she helped me reason with the seamstress. I'm pretty nervous about how my next fitting tomorrow will be...
I had no probs with CP. In fact my alterations came out perfect and she was very helpful.
Thanks girls, I'm very nervous about this in particular since I have a mermaid type fit and I've heard mixed reviews.
