MARRIED ladies with BIG (Full) dresses- PLEASE HELP

Where did you get your slip/crinoline/petticoat/hoop skirt?
what size (circumference) did you get? please post a picture of your dress.
I'm going to try and order off of ebay again (I got my veil and I'm SUPER happy with it) but I don't know what size to get, I want my dress to be really full.. but I want to be able to move around.

I'm no help as I borrowed my best friend's slip and I have no idea how big it was. I just know it was the biggest one they had when she bought her gown (she also had a ball gown).

I recommend getting a hoop skirt. This way you can move around. My feet/legs were free to move about so dancing wasn't an issue at all.

laura, can you ask her where she bought it? and was it a hoop or just crinoline?

natalie- how many hoops did you have? was it easy to sit down and move? i'm teeny tiny and FH.. well he's not and i'm so worried that we'll go to dance and we'll have to reach for each other because the bottom hoop will be too wide.
but i really want the fullness like you had.

It was a crinoline. She bought it at the bridal store where she bought her dress, but they're not in business anymore.

Im having the same issue too, i have a BG and my bridal salon had me try on my dress with 2 crinoline skirts and said one big poof Crinoline is for $95.00 and the medium poof is for $85.00

ill be D**mned to buy 2 skirts!!!!

I want to buy from ebay as well.. But io remember the salon owner telling me not to get a hoopshirt because your dress will fly up in the front when you sit...etc all kinds of mess and make sure to have a velcro waist and not drawstring ...who knows!

It was one hoop skirt...and itsa soft-ish. It was super easy to sit and move around. I'm 5'4 and DH is 6'1 we didn't have any issues. There is a pic where he lifted me...lemme go find it too.

I lifted it slightly b/c someone asked to see my shoes but you can see it doesn't flip up.

I really wanna order off of ebay to save $$.. but I get so confused cause most of them are 3,4,5 or 6 hoops.

I ordered mine where I bought my dress....I think it was $100 but that was in 09 so I dunno how much he is selling it for now. He is located in Oceanside.
