Married ladies: Your actual wedding day weather vs. the farmer's almanac prediction?

Here's the link to the thread that lists all of the farmer's almanac predictions for 2008....

Can you tell us what the almanac said for your day/week and what your actual weather was?

I'm trying to get a feel for how accurate the almanac is....

Thanks!

My wedding date: March 15th

Almanac prediction for that week:
13-17 rain and snow, then sunny cold

Forecast late that week (my wedding was a saturday) called for rain on saturday. Woke up sat morning to a really dark sky so I figured it would pour (mind you the day before-friday-was bright sun all day and fairly temperate) Around lunchtime the day of, the skies cleared and not only was there BRIGHT sunshine the rest of the day, it was actually one of the warmest days in March and I took all my pictures outside. So, long story longer, almanac was a tiny bit right....but mostly wrong.

Almanac: 27-31 Very warm then tstorms

Actual: March 28th, looked like rain but I never saw a drop of it, guests said it was raining on their way in from Suffolk but we did pictures outside both before and after the reception started and nothing was wet. It was a little chilly though.

ETA: The news forecast said thunderstorms for my day as well.

I have showers, cool

maybe they'll be sporadic showers? And what part of the United States are they talking about anyway? Sometimes it's beautiful and there's a tornado or a hurricane down south

I found this

the almanac claims an overall 80 to 85 percent accuracy rate, and says readers have long relied on its forecasts in planning family reunions, company picnics and weddings.

“We’ve been called a bride’s best friend,” Geiger said.
