Married Women.... how the hell did you.....

get all your reception 'stuff' to the rh????

i mean, like your diy stuff: cps, photocubes, guest book.. and so forth and so on

any ideas are welcome

i just dropped it all off last night with my mom we put everything in boxes or bags and packed up our cars

I dropped it off a few days before the wedding. We were carrying in LOADS of stuff. Make sure you have every box labeled with your name, name of the room you are in, date of wedding etc.

When we dropped off our stuff last night they gave us a cart to load everything in and then I went through what all the boxes had.

we went one day the week before and dropped it off. they went through the boxes with me, and i explained to them what everything was. i also typed up a note for each box witth the same info ' this is whats in here, this is what its for..' kind of thing
it all works out

Put everything into a box, sealed the box, and then put a paper on top with the contents and where they should go, how they should be set up, and how many of each.

We dropped it off the week of the wedding when we made our final payment.

Fox Hollow (specifically) had a checklist as well and tallied everything.

I labeled everything, just to make it clear. I left detailed sheets about how the favors were to be setup, what to do with the card box, how to display the seating cards etc. I also talked through all of these points with the Maitre D. I think the main point to anything you do is to communicate and follow it up in writing. So everything I told them verbally, I gave to them in a written checklist.

Seriously, we put everything in boxes or bags and marked what it all is. Then I gave my BM a list of what everything was and where it was supposed to go. They found it soooooooooo helpful and everything was perfect when I showed up for my wedding!!!!

We actually brought stuff in my DH's truck and in my mom's car. Since we had both the ceremony and the reception at the RH it ended up being a lot of stuff!! We did the drop-off 2 nights before our wedding.

boxes a little less than a week before

HOWEVER, my DOC brought my toasting glasses and cake knife to the hall the day of.. I didnt want my good stuff being left around...I was paranoid

I dropped everything a few days before the wedding. I asked them how they would know what is my stuff. They told me they had a room for storage and labeled everything.

My hall requested everything from unity candles to seating chart, card box, and everything the week before. Got a huge cardboard box, labled everything and made a list of what I brought to make sure I get everything back.

I have big, white shopping bags. Each bag is labeled on the outside what is on the inside. I also have return bags labeled for table cameras and such. They have pics of how I want things set up and it will be dropped off within a week b4 the wedding.

We packed up everything into 3 huge boxes and each individual thing was labeled. I also included a sheet with specific instructions on how I wanted certain things laid out and where they went like the We Do letters and favors.
