Anyone have any feedback on these two hotels? I'm learning towards Marriot, but also don't know a lot about Long Island and want to make sure there's places near by where we can take pics, etc. It's 8 minutes from our RH

the marriot was awesome when we stayed there in Feb the rooms were awesome and indoor pool HELLO

How's the surrounding area? I'm so bad w/ where things are in Long Island lol so I'm google maping everything now.
And yep, I LOVEEEEE the indoor pool. Maybe I can do my trash the dress shoot there after the wedding haha

I would say marriot too!!! I live 2 min away from it. There is not a great deal of places to take pics over there. There is a beautiful park that is in nesconset, it's right across from the sun dried tomato it is so pretty there. There is a duck pond in smithtown, but it might be muddy and you don't want that!!! There is also a Hyatt regency that has a golf course behind it.

I'm hoping we can find a place atleast 30 minutes by the hotel where we can take pics. That way we're not too far from the RH, but still can hopefully find a kick-as* place for pics.

Reallllllly stupid question, and for some reason I can't remember although I've stayed at hotels many times before...In terms of payment, they charge the card upon arriving or leaving, its not before unless it's a special thing?

usually charge the day u leave and that park is about 10 min away from the hotel, it has a gazebo and everything!!!!!!!!

Hey hall twin, I am doing the Islandia Marriott. Love it there. I have been also looking for a place to take pics near our hall that won't cost us anything crazy. hmm...

Good to know
So far I'm thinking Robert Moses might be a great place but need to find an indoor place just in case and I really don't want to take our 'pics' at the RH since we'll have pics there either way throughout the CH/RH.

Not on these exact hotels, but I have to say I am all Marriot all the time. I have never had a bad experience at a Marriot hotel and I have stayed in quite a few in different locations/states.

it's not that close but you can take pictures at Port Jefferson, there's a nice dock and beach ish area, they have nice yachts docked and a cool old fashioned steam powered boat. You can also take pictures by Danfords and maybe sneak in and take pictures inside of Danfords. I guess they have no way of knowing if your staying there or not...
It's beautiful inside, we want to stay there the night of but it's too expensive!
