Marriott in Farmingdale

Marriott in Farmingdale

Is anyone else having as much trouble as me with their service? First they didn't put our information in their system and guests couldn't book the rooms online and now they have not opened up another 10 rooms for us after our first 10 filled up even though they confirmed that they did!!

The service is horrific. Booking a block of rooms should be one of the easiest tasks for a bride. Instead I've had to call every week to verify rooms are open.

Then about 2 months ago they started telling my guests the hotel is sold out. When I called they said my block is sold out, I'm like ok open more rooms.

Also beware 1 month before the wedding your block closes and guests have to pay full going rate, $200 plus a night.

I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.

I'm glad its not just me having a problem with them - obviously this place still doesn't know what they are doing. I'd love to switch hotels but at this point its too late, we've booked the conference room for brunch the day after and we've already printed the invites with the info. I should have pulled my business after the first screw up!! I can't believe that they actually turn people away, its their responsibility to open the next block of rooms, you shouldn't have to chase after them!!

Anyone else considering this hotel, think twise!!

Sorry you are having a hard time. I'm having a similar situation with the Hilton, if that makes you feel any better. Its been resolved though. I think all the hotels have their issues, and this may have been the same no matter where you booked.

We are working with them too, but so far it has been okay. She hooked up a link for our guests to reserve rooms with the discount. I was worried b/c I know the manager who deals with weddings had changed, but the new lady had all of our info. Does anyone know if they have their liquor license yet??
