for those that dont live w/ FH did you pack up your things from your room? I have 2 weeks and I am so overwhelmed w/ this project...I haven't even started ...Where did you guys begin?
Start with stuff you don't use as much....like your winter clothes are easier to pack first since you won't be needing them. I think clothes are the easiest to pack. Then shoes, furniture etc. You can always get those boxes that have a rod in them so you can hang your clothes up inside the box. It's the little stuff like makeup that I always had trouble packing. I would try to keep the stuff you use daily and the rest pack now. Good luck!!
ive been living with fh for only about 2 or 3 months, it wasnt even planned i just started sleeping over there more and more and then just decided to stay... but the original plan was to move in after the wedding... i dont have all my stuff there at all, my little girl bedroom at home is pretty much how i left it and will stay like that until after the wedding.. ive taken like half of my clothes and things i couldnt live without, but otherwise, everything else is still home and whenever im home, if i see something i take a little at a time as i go... personally i wouldnt go crazy doing a full on move all at once, dont make it a project right now...especially before the wedding its one less thing you should have to worry about.
I am moving in slowly every weekend I move a little bit of clothes over to our apartment
I plan on doing it in one big move after the wedding. Me and Fh both live with parents and our rooms are already 'called for' after we leave (we both come from packed households) I have all the furniture at my house so we will rent a uhaul in the weeks after the wedding to move. As for the little stuff I am packing it a bit at a time now to make it easier later.
