Martha Clara mini review
Hi girls!
I just wanted to give a mini review of a wedding fh and i went to at martha clara friday night.
The place is gorgeous! It was such a different wedding from many of the local catering halls that it becomes so memorable. You really get a rustic barn feel, and the ceilings/lights were just wonderful. Since it rained, the ceremony was in the barn, and we sat at the dinner tables to watch the ceremony. Although it was a little difficult to see because we were seated by the bar, it was a beautiful ceremony.
Then the party started! They had a selection of beers, along with wine from the vineyard. For appetizers they had a table with cheese, fruits, and meats. The dinner itself was buffet style, with four salads, a shellfish dish, a chicken dish, and a beef dish. All the food was wonderful, and even with about 130 people there the buffet worked well.
One of the odd things though is that they cut the cake, but nobody ended up eating any of the cake (although we did dance a lot, but nobody even saw the cake being served).
Oh! And I'm not sure if Martha Clara provides it, but their guest book was a wine barrel, which was very unique.
