Martha Stweart Chair Placecards Website!

Hi,
I already am married but I thought this website might help someone out.

This website has those Martha Stewart Chair Placecards.

They include printing and a design...

Dawnie, I love that idea! But they are $6.50 each! I am going to see if I can find another site that shows you how to make them. At least I got a good idea from it!

I think $6.50 is for 10 of them...

The how-2 instructions can be found in the Winter 2003 issue of Martha Stewart Wedding. It is the one with the cupcake wedding cake in blue and white on the front. It is on page 93-94. I can possibly get to a scanner if you do not have this issue

Are the chairs made from one piece or do you glue a straight peice and then a folded piece together.?

I am absolutely positive that I saw instruction on how to make those chair place cards in the MS issue that featured them! it involved a lot of folding!

i have the instructions - i wanted to make them too - but i dont' have a scanner!
i can type them out though and see if it helps you guys out!!

'Making Seating Cards'
if calligraphing the names and numbers, do so after the chairs are formed. If printing, do so before cutting the paper.

The name goes on the panel for the back, and the table number on the panel for the seat.

1. To form each paper chair, you will need one 11-by-2 1/4 inch strip of card stock; you can fit three on an 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet. Use a bone folder to score each strip into four sections: a top one that's 4 1/4 inches long, then 3 equal 2 1/8 inch sections.
2. fold the strip at the top score line; the short section of the L will be the chair's back.
3. Bring the horizontal part of the strip down as shown, and fold at the next score line, formng the chair back and starting the seat.
4. Fold the strip down at the front of the seat to make the front legs Use a glue stick or double-sided tape to secure the two layers of the chair back together. Set right side up and trim, if necessary!

Sorry about typos - I'm not checking!!
