It's one of our only must have add ons. I think it just won out over the Chocolate Fountain!!

Re: Martini Bar ?
Carlyle offers it as an optional station during the cocktail hour and I was tempted to go with it but, I realized that my cocktail hour would start at noon and that martinis would probably be pushing it. For the die hards, martinis will still be available at the open bar.

Re: Martini Bar ?
Not for those prices I'm not... The hall will make cosmos and I am bringing apple pucker to have apple martini's... that should be plenty.

Well i don't know what the price would be for it, IMO it shouldn't be that much since i am paying for top shelf liquor anyway..but regardless of price, my father wants it and plans on adding it.
Is this only done at the cocktail hour??? Or is it at the reception too?

I want to tell all my guests to be gluttonous (sp?) pigs about it. I am paying enough!!!

Re: Martini Bar ?
I would love to have it, but I don't think it's worth the money. With the exception of about 10-15 ppl, I don't think anyone else would really drink them. They can still order them though. The full bar is more of a visual thing.

Re: Martini Bar ?
I love this idea and would definitely have a martini at someone's wedding ... very cool. But we decided against because save for about 20-25 of our guests who are big martini drinkers (and drinkers in general) noone else would have went to this station
if you think it will truly be utilized by the majority of your guests, then go for it

Yes we are . They had one on a cruise we took where we also got engaged and I thought it would be a nice touch.

Re: Martini Bar ?
We are not doing a Martini bar but we will have our signature drink (martini but not sure what kind yet)at cocktail hour. The drink color will coordinate w/ the color of BMs dresses and flowers. Our favors w/ the place cards will be martini glasses and favor on guests table will be a shaker.

Re: Martini Bar ?
I am having the Martini bar at my Cocktail Hour at North Ritz. My best friend went to my hall & paid for it as a gift to us. Just for that I am definetly giong to peek a little in our cocktail room. When I select my menus I will give them a choice of 5 different Martinis I want to offer.

Re: Martini Bar ?
I have to admit, I'm a little confused about the definition of a martini bar... I went to my FSIL's wedding a couple of weeks ago @ Chateau Briand & my FMIL said they had a Martini Bar added. From how she said it, I was honestly expecting like a seperate bar that made specialty martinis or something fancy like that? But she just went up to the regular bar @ CH & asked for a Cosmo. Can't you just order a Cosmo or a martini (or maybe even an apple martini) at any CH/reception? I'm just a little confused.
