I am having one, it's a cross promotion between the Crest Hollow and Fortunoff's. It's a Stoli martini bar with different flavors of Stoli and all different flavors of martinis! I can't wait!!

lol good question! I think maybe at a martini bar there are a variety of martinis that you can choose from..specialty martini's..we are having a martini bar at our wedding..it was included in our package..I guess i should ask him what the difference is lol

Re: martini bar

It's just a specialty bar set up to look like a real martini bar... With ice luges yes and vodka displays, etc.

That's why we didn't get it - people could just get their drinks at the bar.

yeah but with open bar you can also just ask for it and they'll have it...such as a dirty martini, watermelon martinii whatever it is, if you have open bar they can do it.

do they just have martinis sitting out there? that might be a bit different i guess...if its included thats ok but i hope places aren't charging extra for this

We are having one during the CH... I loved it because we get a luge, soo the shots run down the ice sculptures, and such, it looked amazing, with all the lights and such, plus we are getting tiffany blue martini's with this, with the sugar rim... And I'm not sure about price because it was included when we upgraded to a sushi station..

Mine does not have an ice luge. It's just a seperate 'station' at the cocktail hour where you can go for specialty martinis. There will be the open bar too, it's just something fun.

Sorrry if it's something you don't want. We like our martinis and we thought it was cute.

I originally wanted it - it IS cute. It will definitely be a wow factor for guests. I'd be wowed by it at a wedding.

We are having a martini bar, I don't think I would have paid extra for it but they threw it in.
I actually don't even remeber if there is an ice luge, but I know there is a martini shaped ice sculpture and there is a really large menu listing all the different martinis that are offered and they are served in these special martini glasses.
I guess the point would be that people who might not know/think to order a special martini would have the option readily available to them.
I was pretty 'eh' about it but when I went to drop off a payment I saw one set up and it was pretty cute, I was glad we had it...

I am not paying for it, it's part of a promotion. It's probably something that we wouldn't have thought about asking for.

I didn't think you were knocking my idea. I don't expect everyone to think all my ideas are the best ever. Everyone has their own opinions
