Re: martini centerpiece
I can send you a pic in about 2 weeks... I'll be going to see my sample CP from my florist and that's what my CP's will be!
I had them at my e party I put food coloring in the water with gerbera daisies floating & I put candles around the base. Sorry I don't have any pics though.. HTH

Re: martini centerpiece
Where can you (hopefully) rent those giant Martini glasses? This doesn't seem like it is something your florist would do. I think this is a good way to DIY centerpieces but don't know where to even think of getting those glasses! This could be wonderful for my destination wedding and since my color scheme is hot pink and brown I could dye the water hot pink or use hot pink glass beads and lay hot pink rose petals around the base with lots of votives...ooo could be a possibility if you can tell me where to get these glasses!
PS sorry to hijack your thread!

Re: martini centerpiece
thanks all for the ideas.. i love them!! for those looking for the glasses.. here are a few places on line where i've found them.. Michael's craft has them cheaper depending on which branch you go to... but just to give you an idea
I also saw them in the flower district in the city! There are back to back stores that sell and rent vases and huge martini glasses for floral presentations! Whole sale! '26th to 29th, along and off Sixth Avenue, is home to a large concentration of NYCs wholesale and retail florists'

AC Moore and Michels have them and you can use the 40% coupon that they always have in the papers
