Martini Luges/Ice Sculpture

A while back there was a thread about Martini Luges/Ice Sculptures. Since then I've been giving it more and more thought (you'd think I hit lotto or something!). I found a site that offers them and they're about 400 with delivery...thought you'd all like to know. My MOH actually said she'd go halvsies with me!

I have a silly question...If you get one of these, does someone in the hall have to 'man' one of these, or are they self service?

Damn...that was a good question. I just re-read the email...you would need someone to man the martini thing...guess I have to check with the hall and find out if there is a bartender than can man it...hmmm....

My hall is providing me with one. Not the martini but the vodka. You can probably do either.
I think its better to check with your hall first. Its not costing us much and they will have someone there to 'bartend' it.

hahaha...when I first read your post (before I looked at the picture in the link) I was like, why would anybody want ice block shots at their wedding? that could get awfully messing. haha....ahhhh, to be in college again.

HA HA HA....my MOH has been driving me nuts! 'If I don't have dirty martinis through the luge I'll just DIE!!!' I did explain that we'd be missing half the cocktail hour for pictures but that didn't seem to dissuade her...'I'll GIVE you the money!' I'll check with my hall tomorrow to see if it's actually feasible.
