Does anyone have a Mason Pearson hairbrush? Is it worth the money or should I stick with a drugstore hairbrush?

I've never even heard of it, but I have a regular drugstore brush that I love, I think Conair makes it.

I had one, I know they're supposed to be 'the best', but I felt like it was only brushing the outside of my hair, you know what I mean? I'm sure there are different kinds, but the one I had wasn't anything amazing. I wound up using it on the dog!

I had a friend who swore by hers back in high school

I am seriously considering using the merchandise credit at Sephora for it, but I don't know what I would do if I bought it and hated it.
I wonder what the guarantee is.
So far, Andrea had a so-so experience and Wendy's friend swore by hers. Decisions decisions.

Seriously, the DO have a good reputation, I think I just had a weird type of brush? If you have a credit & you really want one, then maybe give it a shot?

I would like to try one myself, but I've been told by several friends that it's not worth the money.
Go to Ulta/Sally Beauty Supply/etc and just get a ceramic brush - to some people, they're a little pricey too, but to me, $20 or less is a lot better than Mason's prices...

I felt the exact same way! It doesnt grab all your hair...like the hair underneath....just combs the surface....
