Mass Wedding

For those of you having a mass wedding at a church, how are you wording this on the invitation....this is what I was thinking, but something doesn't sound right to me...

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph _
and
Mr. and Mrs. John _
invite you to witness as their children
Danielle Beth
and
Brian John
share the Sacrament of Matrimony
with each other
A Wedding Mass will celebrate this union
on the 4th of August two-thousand and seven
at a two-forty five in the afternoon
St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church
280 East Main Street
Smithtown, NY 11787

I didn't indicate on my invite that we were having a mass

BTW I have seen people use 'nuptial mass' on invites to indicate mass

I'm having a mass and we said 'nuptial mass' on our invitations.

I would say:

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph _
and
Mr. and Mrs. John _
request the honour of your presence
at the nuptial mass uniting their children
Danielle Beth
and
Brian John
in the Sacrament of Matrimony
on the 4th of August two-thousand and seven
at a quarter to three in the afternoon
St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church

I didn't say anything about it being a Mass, I just said when, where, and threw in the reception card. I didn't think to do it, but I'm glad I didn't say anything because it may discourage people from comming to the Mass because they are afraid it'd be too long for them

We're including 'nuptial mass' on it because we thought people SHOULD know that it's a mass so they don't expect it to finish in 20 minutes and then sit there all annoyed because it's 'so long'... this way, they know to expect it to be 45 minutes to an hour.

Also, we're having a Friday wedding so we don't expect all the guests to come to the ceremony.
