do any of you girls know of a massage/spa vendor that could come to the hotel the morning of the wedding to massage my bridesmaids and myself? or maybe they could comet he night before the wedding? im wondering how much something like that would go for and where to look....FH hinted about getting me a massage the morning of - maybe i could include the girls as well?

Re: massage question
I looked into Star Spa for the bachelorette party because they bring the spa to you. They're a vendor on LIW.

POD SPA is a vendor on here...i think they do it, i would look into it :)
excellent girls. thanks. id like to get one for myself the morning of but i think having myself and 3 bms massaged in the morning might be too hectic - maybe the night before would be a better idea? since my girls are staying with me in the suite the night before? hmmm i really want one the morning of - i want to wake up to mcdonalds breakfast, a mimosa and a massage LMAO

(Black and White and Dutch apple crumb)....mmmmm!!! my fave only thing is the hair ppl arrive at my house at 6:30am....and the bagels wont be ready for pickup till that time....do you think that is ok??

Re: massage question
You're staying at La Quinta right? I am too & am going to Elizabeth Arden the day before. Some of my BM's are coming too... If that's a little pricey- there is another spa (more low key, but with massages, etc) on Franklin Tpke- about a mile down from Elizabeth Arden (it's right next to Grimaldi's restaurant). Went in there & picked up the menu/price list in case OOT wanted a cheaper mani/pedi close by. If you want- I can send you the info tomorrow - send me an FM

Re: massage question
I tried to get a massage the day before my wedding & no one would do it. I called 3 places and said I was a bride, etc... They all said you shouldn't have one for 48 hours before an event just in case you get sore, tired, dehydrated, etc... No one would touch me.
Just an FYI.

Re: massage question
This is a random question, but reading that people wouldn't give massages made me think of it....if you were going to get a facial, how long before the wedding should you do that? i wouldn't want to do it too close, for fear of breaking out, but how far in advance is too far?

really are you sore from the massage? i was thinking of getting one on Thurs with FH (wedding is Sat)....but i started to reconsider it since i have a protruding disc in my upper back and worry that it will only make it worse ...even if the person is well trained, it may still make me sore

Re: massage question
ive gotten full body massages before - quite a few times and ive never been sore after
ETS: maybe a deep tissue massage might make you sore?

Re: massage question
You may not want to get a massage the morning of your wedding. I know it sounds blissful but massage tends to release any toxins in your body and can also dehydrate you. Go the night before instead

I was told to have facial one week prior to my wedding.
