massages for your wedding party?

massages for your wedding party?

I have a friend who just graduated massage therapy school and is currently working as a licensed massage therapist in a spa in Suffolk county. She is amazing! I had a business idea having to do with weddings for her. What do you think of her offering brides her massage services for the bridal party before the wedding, to relax everyone? Has anyone heard of this? Has anyone had this type of service? Has anyone hired a chair massage person to actually give massages at their wedding? Have you ever heard of this? If anyone has ever done this had something like this for their wedding, do you know what the pricing was like? Do you all think this this a good idea? Do you think brides would be interested in such a service? Thanks!

My sister did it for her wedding and it was a huge hit. Her friend came, set up a table in part of the suite and the girls took turns. They actally even paid for the massages themselves.

I actually do this as part of my business.
I'm a Licensed Massage Therpaist (practicing for 6 years), and do Home Spa parties with Estheticians, Nail Techs, waxers, makeup application, etc...
People love it!!!

By any chance, do you know how much each girl paid for a massage?

I would have LOVED to do that for my girls as part of their gift! I was hesitant to get a massage a day or two before my wedding b/c I was scared I might bruise. It would be cool to do for a bachelorette party too!

Yeah, it's more of a Bach. Party thing.
I wouldn't want a massage the day of either. JMO.
