I didn't want anyone near my the days leading up to my wedding - I was so tense. I don't think you'd be able to relax at all. maybe a few days before or a week before but the day of, no way!

DH & I went for his & hers massages the day before our wedding at Elizabeth Arden spa in Garden City & it was WONDERFUL!

Usually after you get a massage your body is like Jell-O and all you want to do is lie down and sleep or relax After my last massage I was out of it all day! Definitely do it the week of, but not the day of!

As a Massage Therapist, I can honestly say... Get it a few days before. The Wedding Day is so hectic, you may not be able to enjoy it!

I would do it the night before for 2 reasons:
1 - You won't have any time day of and any relaxation you might get from the massage will probably be wasted away worrying about all the things you need to get done in that short amount of time.
2 - When you are really stressed and tense, they will need to work harder on you to release the tension, which tends to hurt a bit immediately afterward. You really don't want to be in pain walking down the aisle.

NO!!! Don't get one the day of the wedding. you will be thinking about everything and not be able to enjoy it. At least 1-2 days before.

I got one the day before. I figured I would be stressed enough and that would be a good time to pamper myself. I made it a BM spa day. It was fun.
