FI and I ordered our rings on Monday!! I am so excited. If I knew how to post pictures I would, but I don't know how??
Anyway, they are the Tiffany Etoile wedding bands. They are not from Tiffany, I am just having my jewler make the same ones for us.
We decided to get matching bands and I am so excited. My ex-husband and I did not have matching bands and FI's ex-wife and he did not have matching bands so there is something special about having matching bands for us this time!
What about you girls, matching or not??

CONGRATS...that is really special for the two of you. So glad you are so happy and excited.
As for FI and I we are not having matching bands. FI wants a plain brushed platnum band and I want a diamond eternity band.

My engagement ring is beautiful.. unique... has a story behind it.. meaning.. and all that wonderful stuff. It's also oddly shapped and high. I need a low profile ring to match it or at least TRY to match it.. and neither shiny gold nor shiny silver looks good on FH.
So we are going our own ways.. the idea is.. if it fits us individually then we're happy. I told him 'You better make sure you like that ring.... cause you're going to be wearing it a LOOOONG time'

We did not get matching bands. My e-ring is white gold, and I wanted the matching ring to go with it. DH only likes yellow gold on him, so no match for us.

I have two rings, my DH only got one. I got a diamond band and my DH got a regular one. I also got the match to DH's band. I like that we have matching ones.

We were originally both going to have plain platinum bands with etching on the outside but then I found an 'antique looking' platinum ring at Fortunoff's that has little diamonds in it and it matches my e-ring better so I'm going with that one.

Like kelly, we have matching but also have one that matches my e-ring - a diamond etermity band. If you are undecided, get both! Our matching one is two toned and together were relatively inexpensive. It's worth it.

My engagment ring is platinum, so obvioulsy I want to get a platinum band. Howver, FI wants a gold wedding ring. So we'll have the same design but different colors. I wish he would just get platinum. But he wants what his dad has.

We do not match, FI picked a Titanium band that he LOVES and I originally wanted either platinum or white gold to match his, but he fell in love with a 5 diamond (small) across the top that has a yellow gold band (e-ring is yellow-family heirloom) and the prongs are white and it looks great with my e-ring and by itself. FI Hates gold and doesn't wear any other jewelry other than his cross, so I wanted him to have what he wants so he'll wear it!

We don't have matching either. DH has a titanium band and I have a platinum band w/diamonds...it matches my e-ring.

although i love the idea of it...ours dont match...theres no way he could get one anything like mine! maybe i the future well get matching plain ones
