My RH recommended tipping the matre d 3-5 dollars a person. What do most people tip? I was thinking 4 since its right in the middle...

I think we gave her $380 -- we had just about 100 people. She was wonderful.

we tipped ours $550 or 600 (i cant remember) for 180 guests.
