Matron -- I am holding you directly responsible for this!

Matron, you were the one that started the 'gross things' in restaurants thread, so you must've put the 'whammy' on me

I went to Pax Deli for lunch today -- it's right down the block from my job and I love their wraps and soup -- I usually go once a week and have taken out from there countless times.

Anyway, today I go in to get my lunch, I'm on line and I'm looking down at the glass partition to see what wrap I want. Under the glass partition and onto the ledge crawled two huge cockroaches. I almost threw up. I wanted to say something to the crew behind the counter, but I didn't want to cause a mass panic and exodus from the store. I let people figure stuff out for themselves. I calmly got off the line, put back the Snapple I had picked up and walked out. Not going back there ever again! People were talking about it outside, so it wasn't just me.

OMG, soooooooooooo sorry! That is so gross! Maybe I just made everyone more aware of their surroundings..... consider it a good thing that it didn't crawl out of your sandwich!

I think I traumatized everyone for life.

My hubbie hates me now too. He loved that deli.
