So I'm one of the first of my girlfriends to get married. The other night, my best friend mentioned how when she gets married, how I will be her MATRON of honor. I totally forgot I'm going to be a Matron . Does that word seem old to anyone other than me??

Yup, me too. I don't like the word Matron. It just sounds so blah. My MOH is a matron, but I never refer to her that way.

My MOH is a Matron too... BUT have not called her that.. I talked to her about but she hates it... So we just left it as MAID OF HONOR... She is happy with it and so am i =)

I never thought of it like that! I have 2 Maid of Honors but one MIGHT be getting married in a few weeks . So, I told her after she get married it will be perfect because I will have a matron of honor and maid of honor! Now I know why she got a little upset

I will be my sister's Matron of Honor. I thought about it recently and was like 'ehhhhhhhhh!!!!' I will tell her that I would like to be called Maid of Honor please.

Totally weird...I was the matron of honor for my sister and i will be for my cousin this spring...I felt old saying it lol...and then I realized I am getting old!!
