So I have both a Matron and Maid of Honor....who stands the closest to me.... or is the 'first' one????? Does it have an order?

i don't think there's a specific order...matron and maid just have to do with whether the girl is married. i would put the girl you feel closest to next to you

The difference between a matron and a maid is that one is married and one is not (maid is unmarried), so there is no rule on who stands closer. You'd have to decide that for yourself -- who are you closer to? It would be the same for someone having 2 maids of honor. HTH
