After I saw this post, I checked out his website and emailed him for info. and prices. If no one else posts it sooner, I'll post it when I hear back from him.

A friend of mine used him for her wedding this year and another friend is using him for her wedding in Jan. He is very talented and can do some very fashionable styles in addition to the usual stuff. He isnt as organized as he could be from what I hear and he is not cheap ...but he does really beautiful work.

$50 make up
$75 hair

On the phone Matt told me that he does both hair and make-up.
Total is $250. I forgot which is $150 and which is $100.

Here are some details about how i work.
As far as starting time that will depend on how many people are getting done. I can travel to you on the wedding day, but for the trial you would need to come to me, I`m 15 to 30 minutes from midtown off the E or F trains, in Forest Hills Queens.
Trials cost $50. a service.
I charge $250. for both Hair&Makeup on the bride and $ 100. per service on any others, I can negotiate better prices on anyone who is getting just a blowout and not an updo!

Ok--he emailed me his prices:
Trials: Hair=$75 Makeup=$50
Hair and Makeup day of wedding=$350
Just hair or just makeup=$200
Other people=$100 per service
He will work on price for anyone just getting a blow-out rather than an up-do.

Is it just me or is this a little steep?!

I had a trial with him some time in 2003. I traveled to his apartment in Forest Hills with my MIL. Someone said he is not that organized, and I will 2nd that. He did a very nice job BUT it was not the look I asked for.
The look seemed to be very theatrical (heavy makeup). He is an actor/actress makeup artist and does some excellent work but IMO for Me that was not the look I wanted on my wedding day.

My hair was NOTHING what I asked for. I was pretty clear with a picture and all and it just came out bad.

On a side note nothing to do with his work but when I was done his doorbell was ringing and it had to be his mate coming over b/c he started lighting candles and fixing up and all and PRACTICALLY threw us out...I HAD TO ask him how much I owed him (stupid me i should of left)...I did not appreaciate that and MIL was very angry that he was pushing us out the door...
