Matthew Evan was born 8/27/04 via c-section because I just wasn't dilating. He was 6 lb 10oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I went in for an induction last Thursday night and woke up the next morning to nothing! I was already 41 weeks and didn't want to wait any longer. Besides, when he actually arrived they thought he was at least 42 weeks based on his exam. Anyway, having the c-section wasn't too bad, I was up walking a few hours later, slowly at that. We are trying to breastfeed which i am finding very challenging since he is a bit of a pokey feeder, so we will see how much longer I will continue. Anyway I will try to post pics one of these days. Congrats to all of the new babies and new preggos.

Congratulations!!! Great name! Try not to give up on BF. I know how hard it can be. Andrew did not latch on for 8 weeks then finally one day he got it! I was pumping to maintain a supply. It was very frustrating but ultimately I think it was worth it. But I must admit it was very hard to pump and feed. So I totally relate to anyone who does not have the time, energy, strength or patience to try to continue.
