maui honeymoon

Anyone have any suggestions on which area in maui? Wailea or Lahaina?

I personally prefer the Lahaina area. I don't like to stay at the resort all the time. From Kaanapali Beach, it's a 5 minute drive into Lahaina. FH and I went there (even if it was just for ice cream or to take a walk) every day the last time we were there.

There's tons of restaurants, shops, art galleries, etc. in Lahaina. Wailea is very pretty, but much more laid back and quiet (I spent 4 days there on my first trip with my ex). Love the 4 Seasons, but I really do prefer the Lahania area.

Although - really anywhere on Maui is AMAZING!!!!
