MAUI restaurants... need help choosing

I'm going to Maui for my honeymoon in October and i need help choosing restaurants. We're only in maui for 6 nights so i doubt we'll go out to a fancy restaurant every night.

So please rate all of the below and list your TOP 3 or 4 of the choices below. Rating scale... 5 being the BEST, 1 being the lowest.

-Ferraro’s
-Spago
-Mamma’s Fishouse
-Nick’s Fishmarket
-Bubba Gumps

(THANKS)

The only one we ate at from your list is Mama's Fish House. We LOVED it!! We went on our way back from our Road to Hana drive. It was excellent. I think it was the best place we ate at the entire HM.

I second Mamma's Fishhouse. Everything about it was great: the food, the service, the sunset. When you make reservations tell them you are on your honeymoon, they will give you a great table.

Good idea on the table. Our hotel concierge did it for us and they got us an amazing table at the window. We timed our reservation to watch the sunset. Just gorgeous!!

Not to mess up your list, but your #1 should definitely be Sarento's, hands down. You will be glad you went - the food was the best and it's very romantic at sundown. They have a photgrapher there to take your picture too (if you;d like)!

Then I'd say Mama's Fishouse and Nick's tied for #2. Hope that helps!

Also, there are Bubba Gump's restaurants all over (NY, Chicago, etc.) so you can always just go to the one in Times Square. I went to that one. It was pretty good from what I remember, but definitely not spectacular.

#1 Ferraro's (spectacular at sunset)
#2 Spago (love Wolfgang's food; amazing view at sunset as well)
#3 Mama's (great spot after the road to Hana)
Did not eat at Nick's..and would steer clear of a chain like Bubba Gump's that you could find anywhere!
We stayed at the 4S Wailea, and it was AMAZING!!! Have a wonderful time on Maui!!!

Spago & Ferraro's are tough to pick as #1 or #2 - they are both AMAZING! Ferraro's is a great taste of home. We stayed at the 4 Seasons, so we went to both - don't miss either of them!

Mama's Fish House is also great - get there early to take pictures at sunset. Also, drive past Mama's about a mile. There is a surfing beach, tons of surfers, really fun to watch before dinner!

We did not go to Nick's or Bubba Gump's, but I also recommend Pacific O's - it is in Lahaina. You sit right on the beach! very romantic!

I would suggest that if you are inclined to do the whole Luau thing, to try the Old Lahaina Luau on Maui.

We ate at Ferraro's, Nick's, and Mama's while there. I would rank them as:

Mama's-5
Nick's-4.5
Ferraro's-4

If you go to Mama's get the Mahi Mahi, and at Nick's get the Opakapaka (sp?) appetizer...

All three places were delicious! And the service was fantastic at Nick's, and very good at Mama's and Ferraro's.

Enjoy, I'm so jealous, I want to go back!

We actually didn't go to any of those, but I kept hearing great things about Mamas Fishhouse, from other people on vacation. I heard it was a bit pricey about $200 at least, but everything in Hawaii is.
Please stay away from Brennkes it was awful!!!!
We ate at our hotel two nights and then at Kemo which is in Old Lahania town, that is where Bubba Gump fish co is. That place was always so crowded, but I have not idea how the food is.

Nick's was amazing! We stayed at the Fairmont were it is located. The desserts were delicious. The strawberries flambey (sp?) was the best thing Ive ever eaten.

I third the Old Lahaina Luau suggestion. Our favorite meal on the Island was at the Banyan Tree. (It is in the Ritz Carlton)
