Maui -- Where to stay?

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in Maui that isn't that expensive? Thanks!!!

I would say Hyatt but I got a corporate rate from my friend that works there so I really don't know how reasonable it is. I do hear it is beautiful.

We stayed at the Grand Wailea and it was amazing!! I can't rave enough - the grounds, pools, service, spa - everything was first class and gorgeous! On the expensive side but worth every dime! I know they have promotional discounts at certain times of the year - we stayed 6 nights and got 2 night free. Their website it www.grandwailea.com

The hyatt is really gorgeous and they always have deals or combo things, worth looking into may not be as expensive as you think and better to get the worst room in the best hotel imho you may get an upgrade being your honeymoon and all, we did.

I have to recommend the Hyatt too - it was beautiful, clean and not too expensive and in a good location!

I booked the Hyatt for 6 nights at $275/night. It's kinda on the pricey side but for Oahu, we get a big discount at the Marriot b/c my Aunt works there, so we figured we could spend more at Maui for a nice hotel. Check out Expedia.com
