Maui/Kauai - Marriott hotels opinions?

Maui/Kauai - Marriott hotels opinions?

Hi all,

I'm trying to look into my honeymoon. We are thinking about Maui and Kauai. I have some Marriott points so I was going to look into staying at the marriott for one of the islands. Anyone every stay at one of these? If so which one do you recommend and on which Island? (The other island would be a Hyatt)

We decided to stay at the Marriott on Kaua'i (staying at the Hyatt on Maui). A few friends stayed at the Kaua'i Marriott on their respective honeymoons last year and LOVED it. We're staying at the Marriott in Lihue and have heard not so great things about the other Marriott on Kaua'i.
