May 05 Brides....

although we all are excited that our big day is finally approaching is anyone getting sad that it will all be over soon??

Sad? NO! Happy is more like it...I can't wait for it to be all over so that I can move on and get my brain cells back. My work needs me!

ETA: And I can't go on my HM without the wedding...I am SO looking forward to that!

yes and no, but I wont be bored!

I want the wedding to come already so I can go on my HM
and then when I get back I'll be helping plan one of my BMs baby shower;s and FH and I are still looking for a house, so that;ll be enuff to occupy me.

Yes. Definitely. This month it is/has been so real. We have the menus, cake, 2nd fitting, engagement shoot, centerpiece, etc booked this month. Everything is just coming together and making it more real. I mean less than 2 months! Crazy!

this past week it all set in.

we finalized our menu, cake, my bouquet, picked out girls bouquet, boutineers, centerpieces, picked out the menu for the rehearsal dinner

set up final appts with dj to go over music
and appts for hair trials.

I'm not sad. I'm getting more excited as it approaches, but I keep telling myself that I have to look forward to 'real life' after the wedding is over.

Yes. I was so excited to get married as soon as possible after being engaged that I'm exhausted and can't enjoy anything now.

I need to find a new extra-curricular activity for after the HM!

I am excited that it is coming and I will be sad when it's over but at this time, I am sooooo overwhelmed and tired!

What are we supposed to be doing - I feel like I have so much to do and am not sure what!

I am sad that the 'wedding' will be over. The idea of the magical day, that comes once in a lifetime (hopefully) and is over. I've always seen the wedding as something in the future, and now it will be in the past... And to me, that is really said.

On the other hand, I am SO happy for this to be over! I can NOT take the drama anymore, and the idea of my life dominated over ONE day!

I'm looking forward to just being married and having some down time. This 'doing something ever day for the wedding' is getting tiring.

I am worried that I will feel a tinge of sadness after the honeymoon. As much as I can't wait to be married and get my life back and have free time again, I also really enjoy the wedding planning. It has been a great creative outlet for me.

I plan on taking up some other creative hobbies after the wedding - like scrapbooking. There is a scrapbooking store in my neighborhood and I am dying to take their classes!
