Thanks Jess! I'm going to Lilette's in Baldwin, Moonlight Couture and Burton's. I was supposed to go these places last Friday, but I was snowed in and couldn't go

just an update, the eternal quest for a photographer goes on
I am going to see: Michael Rosengard (North Island), Paul Marino, Mark Kaufmann, Spelman...
Is there anybody else I should see? Who else is great at Patken besides Steve?

I'm trying to get the motivation to make appointments. Body Rock called so maybe ill make one for them... and Cassarino. I've run out of steam from constantly thinking about the wedding since we got engaged. I needed a breather.

I have to ask a friend to be a BM this weekend. I'm nervous though cuz shes really FH's friend,even though im friend with her now too... but i'm still nervous, i don't know why.

I am going to 2 different dress appointments on Saturday. I also called 2 other stores who told me it was too early to look and that I should call back in March/April. I'm really nervous about looking for a dress, I'm not sure why. Wish me luck guys!!

I heard that Imagine is very good! I love Shamma's pictures. i definitly plan on visiting them. you have to use their videorapher also i think

i watched that and i noticed that the background always had something ugly in it, like the railing or a trash can or something....maybe it was just me

Thanks Marcela. They were 2 private salons for 2 designers in NYC. I'm not even sure why I bothered to try & make appointments anyway, I can't afford their dresses. They told me that they have a new line in the spring and if I went now chances are I'd get a gown that would be discontinued. Whatever. I figured I'm not going to bother, I'd rather go somewhere else.

I actually made an appointment at Moonlight Couture, just to look (this will be the first place I'm going). Now I feel like it is a waste since Marcela you said they had nothing there. I'm trying to arrange everything around my dad's schedule (he's going with me) and trying to get this done before I have to start looking for apartments since I know that will take up most of my time. I'm definately stressing out alot over this, I'm not sure why, I think I'm nervous about the cost and finding something that looks great on me. Sorry to vent guys, thanks!!

Jess: Be careful going to places that are way over your budget. Trust me. And look at the prices. I went to Macy's, tried on dress, didn't look at prices and fell in love with a $4500 dress. WAY WAY OVER my budget.
As for Moonlight Couture, I didn't find a thing. If you saw a dress in a mag by a designer that Moonlight carries, I would call them before you go to see if they have that particular dress. They also told me that they get new stuff in, so you should call them to see what they have.

Try not to get stressed out. This is supposed to be fun!! I love that your Dad is going with you. That's so nice!

Hi all! I booked Burton's and Patken!. Steve is my photographer. So now I am done for awhile. I just have to ask some bridesmaids and we will start to look in September for dresses. I am ordering STD magnets soon and they will go out at the end of August. So now I can relax for a litttle while.
