Sorry if its TMI… So whenever I shave under my arms, even if its with a brand new blade, I always seem to have the look of stubble. And sometimes I get red marks. I’m nervous that this is gonna look awful in wedding pics if I get caught in a picture with my arms up.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Should I maybe try one of those creams instead?

Have you tried waxing? It hurts, but it lasts for about 2 weeks. HTH

I do waxing. looks very very clean and u dont get the stuble
just be careful (and now Im gonna do the TMI thing): I got infection under arm after shaving and had to have local surgery. so be careful.

I usually shave maybe...2-3 times a week so i'll try cutting down. maybe im just irritating my skin?
is the intuition the one with the soap or whatever around teh blade?

I agree with Barb...let it grow in for a few days to a week, and then shave. That's what works for me if I know in advance that I need to wear something where the pits will be showing.

Have you tried putting lotion on right after you shave? That might help.

Re: May Be TMI....Underarm Hair
i actually dont agree with lotion after u shave..esp ifits a problem area as far as irritation goes...
the pores will be open and she might break out even more.
i highly recommend the shick intuition blades. but def. grow out your pits more b4 u shave. i find this works with leg hair, too
keep us posted! lol

Waxing keeps it off for a while, but you have to let it grow back to a certain point before you can wax again. That's the annoying part.

I read that this always happens for girls with darker hair. It's not necessarily showing stuble, it's just that the color of the skin underneath the arms is darker so it looks like there is stubble still there. I have the same problem.
I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about unless they happen to have the lens right up to your pit AND lift your arm at the same time - chances of this happening seems slim to me...

I've been using Dove Ultimate Visably Smooth deodorant - hair grows in thinner and reduces stubble - and it actually works for me - FYI - worth a shot

Had the trouble too... I started laser hair removal and didn't have to shave for 6 months or so. It worked great. Since you don't have much time, I would suggest waxing... you'll be happy and it will last.
