I'm planning on doing the same. I'm on a holiday weekend too, so I want to give the out of towners a chance to plan their trips- I sent save the dates, but I'm sure a ton of people forgot already lol

I did save the dates also, but I feel mid-March (or so) is a good idea. Obviously, it also depends on how many out of town guests you have.

I think it also depends on if you sent out save the dates or not. Plus most say between 2-3 months. You are going to get those that respond quickly and those that are going to wait until the reponse date regardless of when you send them. I am one anxious bride to send them out too!

exactly this. I feel like if you send them sooner that mid-may for a late may wedding, you'll have a ton of people who will probably forget about the invite lol... You don't want to send something out and have the person be like 'oh ok i have 1.5 months till I have to RSVP so I'll wait a little bit' and then forget. I'd rather have only like a month to have people RSVP so they decide to just send it in
