When are you sending them out?
When is your RSVP date?
When is your final # due to your hall?

i want to send out beginning of march

RSVP date will be towards end of april

final headcount is due about 10 days before

I'm sending out about 10 weeks in advance - so mid-march. RSVP date is May 1st.

Final headcount is due only 3 days before, I think!

I know I am psycho BUT

I am sending out invites in Feb/March (sorry ladies.. lurkers!!)

I know of a couple of weddings on the same day as mine.. and though we're not all close friends, we do have mutual friends amongst us..

And I know how people are.. they take forever w/ the RSVP stuff.. and some don't even bother sending it, so a lot of phone calls need to be made and i'm just giving our parents the extra time to beat up those think it's beneath them to RSVP!!!!

I am sending out invites in early Feb for A list with the RSVP of April 4 and B- list will be sent out mid to late March w/ the RSVP of May 1.

And I know how people are.. they take forever w/ the RSVP stuff.. and some don't even bother sending it, so a lot of phone calls need to be made and i'm just giving our parents the extra time to beat up those think it's beneath them to RSVP!!!!

That is early but you are a holiday weekend so good thinking! I am hoping all with send back responses RIGHT AWAY but I know I am being dillusional

LOL!!! Here's what I'm thinking:
Send out: March 1st (Saturday)

RSVP date: April 15th (Tuesday & a date hopefully people will remember b/c it's the tax date- LOL )

Final # due to hall: I think only a few days before??

You're right! I thought mem. weekend was that weekend (FH bday is the 28th and is usally mem weekend)...

i had to laugh when i read this - i'm the same day as you and EVERYONE thinks it's memorial day weekend!

i'm still trying to pick out invites - i don't like any but i guess i'll do a May 1 RSVP date. So i'm not sure yet when i'll send them out.

I know how difficult it is.. I am not too fond of my wedding invites either but FH and my parents pretty told me to pick one and deal with it..

Have you tried 'not from a box' .. they have lovely cards.. not sure what you are looking for but it's pretty cool!

not sure of any of these yet. I havent even LOOKED at invites yet. I have to get a move on

i don't like anything that's pink, has flowers, stars, castles, hearts, couple pictures. also really sick of plain white or ivory embossed.

my eparty invites i printed and got from papyrus, and the thank yous were vera wang, very simple with a brown border and so classic. BUT I love the vera wang and kate spade ones yet i am not willing to spend that much on invites!

see what a pain i am?

I still can't pick out an invite, but once I do I will be sending them out late February early March for OOT guests especially.
RSVP will be May 1st.

i'm so the same about this! i typically do not like stars, hearts, flowers, couples, etc. and i did not want plain white! AND, i fell in LOVE with kate spade invites but they were ridiculously expensive so i ended up ordering somewhat similar invites from weddingpaperdivas.com. they are REALLY reasonable in price and were great to work with.
