May have found the dress...but I can't find a pic

So, I went to Macy's Bridal in Smithhaven Mall last night. They weren't TOO bad...but I definitely wasn't impressed. The sales lady was kind of rude to my sister...and refused to let me try on most of the gowns because I am larger than sample size (Couldn't close the size 10) and I guess she didn't feel like clipping. So, she pretty much banished me to the plus size section, but then wouldn't let me try on gowns that were too too big either. I finally found a few 12, 14s and 16s to try on. I actually REALLY liked 1 of them. She wouldn't let us take pictures (and accused my sister of trying to sneak a picture with her cell phone--she actually was, but we told the lady she was text messaging ) She said 'You can see the pictures on line'

Lo and behold-- there is no picture of the gown I liked on line! I did a google search for it and the only mention of the gown is from another girl on weddingchannel.com looking for a pic of the same one! Apparently it is from the Spring '05 Sposabella collection.

Oh well!

Anyway, I agree with all who say customer service is not up to par in that joint!

You should go somewhere else you should not deal with that...When i go dress shopping, if anyone of the sales people give me an attitude or annoy me at all i will ask right then and there for someone else to help me, and i'll talk to the manager if i have to, if that even helps, if not i am out of there...If i am going to spend that much on a dress i expect to receive good service. Plus this will be the most important dress any of us buy so i dont care to deal with bs...Either they are nice and helpful, or i take my business elsewhere

Call Macy's and tell her you can NOT find the dress online, like she said you could and you need the specifics.

I am so sorry to hear about this. Who did you deal with? I went last Saturday and had a pretty good experience with Tracy. I put a low deposit down on the dress and am going back on Saturday to get measured and pay the rest of the deposit. Everyone is making me so nervous about Macy's

I forget the lady's name. She was an older woman with a BAD dye job (you could see the dye staining her scalp-ew) The gown was Sposabella style 4198. Thanks girls!
