May I please borrow some choc. frosting? Cassandra, RockysGirl!!!!

I just made your recipe for choc. cake in a cup, and it's mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!! I substituted 3T of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, for the oil, and used non fat milk. Didn't use the choc. chips, cause I didn't have any, but boy, is this good!!!!!!! Thanks for the recipe!!!! I think this is a great recipe for kids!!! Mine didn't go over the top of the cup, but I'm glad for the warning on that, Cassandra!!! I put a paper plate underneath the cup. Thanks again!!!! Mary MOB

Ahhhh! I'm so glad you liked it! I thought it was a pretty cool recipe also. I love your idea on how to make it less fattening. I'm all about health and I barely ever allow myself to indulge (if I can help it. lol) so that makes me excited. I'm gonna try to make it your way with the better ingredients. Thanks!

ETA - You're right actually. I do think it would be a fun one for kids! I would probably do it with my class (i'm a pre-school teacher) if we had enough microwaves. lol. With only one, the kids would get VERY impatient. But the next time I'm stuck watching my soon-to-be niece & nephew, i'll definitely consider pulling this one out

Oh, my Husband will go bananas over this, when I add ice cream or whipped topping, or hey, I think I'll get some chopped nuts to put in!!!! It almost has the consistency of a choc. sponge cake!!!!!!
Teachers could use this recipe, and allow older students to print out on a holiday card, to take home, or teachers could use as a printout for the little ones to take home!!!! Mary MOB
