Is the jump between a March wedding and a May wedding that much higher pp?

at most places, yes. May is the beginning of 'prime' wedding time.

Beginning of April isn't bad. We are April 8th. It was a bit of a difference from the middle and the end so the 8th it was! I wanted April 1st but FH didn't want to get married on April fools day. I thought it was be funny lol

Anyway Also if you look into a Friday or Sunday instead of a Saturday, you can save up to $8 a person at some RH

Dec - March was about $40 diff then April - Sept at my hall!!!

We were originally looking at a Saturday in May. We ended up going with a Friday in April and we saved $30 a person by doing that.

I'm having a May wedding and the price difference btwn a Friday Night in May and a Saturday Night in May was like $20 b/f taxes. April was like $8 difference. I didn't get March quotes.

Yeah, It can be $30-40pp difference at some halls!!!

You can compromise and do a Friday or Sunday in May, that should be about the same as a Saturday night in April

It all depends on where you are having your wedding ...i looked at alot of places and there was a big jump in price.....so just be careful!!!!!

may, june, september and october tend to be the most expensive months! but yes, there was a huge price different between early april (even late april) and may. but we knew we wanted may and were happy to make it happen!

We were set on 5/4/12 when we were searching for a RH.....most places 'prime season' starts in June but some places started in May....

If we would have chosen the week before to get married at our place it would have cost $10 less a person!

The main difference at my place was w/ the ceremony fee. Less for April than in summer months including May. We didn't even know until after we settled on April hah
