Most of you know the hell I went through debating on keeping my gown since my parents paid a deposit before I could say anything. And then I went through more hell because the salon just bites customer service wise.
Well now I went to Phyllis and find out the dress was butchered. By who, I don't know. She tells me the salon had to do it because the designer would never let a dress leave like this. The salon said the designer must have done it.
The skirt is off center (and this is very noticable), the straps are twisted and dirty, the netting underneath looks like it was cut off and sewn back on any which way, because it bunches up and there are threads hanging, and the sides of the dress are 3' longer than the middle.
So now I can't help but wonder, is this possibly a sign that I just was not meant to have this dress? That all of my agonizing was NOT for nothing?

Well, do you still love the dress despite all these issues? If you still love it, then keep the same dress. Is there any way you can get in touch with the designer to find out what can happen from here?

I hope so. If I can't get my money back for the hollow to hem that I paid for, then I want a replacement gown!!!

Aww this is crazy. Why would the salon show you the dress if it looked like that? They should have taken care of the problem before you even knew about it. I am sorry you are dealing with this crap on top of other things going with you.

so sorry this is happening to you. make sure you get some money back. that is crazy. i think you still have time to always go to another salon, so long as you feel you have not invested so much money in it.
