Maybe its just me...

but this holiday season kinda sucked (not in the way you think tho) I think that at least 6 people (family and co-workers) have told me 'Dont eat too much you have to fit into ur dress' W T F!!! I absolutely hate that..who r u to tell me what I should be doing...if I want to be a fat pig (which I am not going to be) at my wedding..then thats what I will be. You dont need to ruin the holidays by reminding me that I have a dress to fit in to...Ok thanks for letting me vent.

I hear ya!! the unsolicited advice comes from everywhere!! I keep getting told 'you have plenty of time' to get everything done.....and I'm like, yeah you try doing a kitchen renovation, working 50 hours a week in the city (plus add on my 2 hrs commuting per day) AND planning a wedding!!!

I feel your pain chica!!!

OMG I had everyone stuffing me so much over the past 2 days that I was the one saying I needed to fit into my dress
But really, if someone had said it to me Id have to tell them to get somewhere

Thanks...the funny thing is that I am not at all worried about looking 'fat' on my wedding day. I am happy on how I look...granted I am no super model...and far away from being thin..but I am happy, so why do people chose to screw that up?

I don't know why everyone thinks it is ok to just put their 2 cents in to my business!!! Now, I don't mind my Mom or Best Friend giving me heads ups or some sane words of wisdom, but jeeze, those random people in my life, who have no idea about me, Please!!! MYOB!!!!

I hate that too. My biggest pet peeve though, is when I'm eating lunch with my coworkers and they pick everyone's lunch apart, saying, that's not good for you, that isn't either. Leave me alone and let me eat in peace!!

OMG! My freakin co-workers were doing that to me at the holiday parties!! 'Hey! Don't eat that! You have to fit into your dress!' Um, excuse me but my wedding is in November...I have plenty of time to lose those extra holiday pounds thank you very much!

I dont think that people realize that even though they may be close to you that it is hurtful to say that. Whether they be serious or just joking around.
Im not worried about looking 'fat' either so I know how you feel

It's so not you. I agree. Because of the weather, it never felt like christmas. I think also because of the wedding planning and engagement party I was so busy doing and planning for that. It just went way to quick.

My mom recruited my brother in law who did Atkins and dropped 20 pounds in a month to call me fat to my face. She thought it would be motivation for me to lose weight. I figured out her rouse though..>I could not believe it, since she is no thin little something either! Since then (this happened Halloween) I have been working with a personal trainer and now everyone is telling me how great I look! I wish that I could lose 15 more pounds though!

Yea no worries!! Tell those nosey bodies u'll worry about fitting into ur dress. My god people can't mind their own business. I am telling ya no one ever gives the right advice!! (Except fellow brides)
