Maybe TMI, but I dont give an eff..

So Friday is my wedding, yayyyyy! But still no period.. prob later today or tomorrow. However, this means ill be on day 3 or 4 of my period on my wedding day. My question is.. how do you change a tampon in a huge dress?? take it off then put it back on?? That's a lot of work!

um well, are your days 3 & 4 usually lighter? i'd go with a panty liner.

No pill

I want to know how to do this, technically???????

God willing it'll be lighter, but not light enough for just a panty liner. Plus those are sooooo uncomfortable!

hmm.. I'd take the dress off.. you dont really want any bms in the bathroom with you while you're 'changing'.

i got mine the morning of my eparty, luckily i wasn't wearing a big dress.. but i was drugged so i wouldn't cramp as bad.

is your dress easy to get in and out of?
does your bridal suite have a private bathroom?

because my dress is so big I'm going to have to get in and out of it to use the facilities.
luckily mine is easy to get in and out of. so I'll just take it off in the suite, throw on a robe and use the bathroom...
could you do something like that?

No private bathroom.

This is what ill do.. leave it in for about 12hrs and take that small risk of toxic shock.. whatever. I'm sure over the yrs I've left it in longer at some point.

Funny thing is, I do gynecology for a living!

I would say if you have a quick break before the reception, change it and take the dress off????

Just take off your dress. If I have to go to the bathroom at my wedding I'm just going into the bridal suite, jumping out of my dress and then just using the bathroom in the suite. Better then dragging 10 girls in with me

Hey fellow Doc!!! I do OB-GYN in a week for a month! Sorry, but i'm not looking forward to it!!!

I hate to say it....but i wear my tampons for a full 12 hour shift all the time....i wouldnt really worry about TSS.

You could always have you BMs lift the dress high enough so you can somehow get your hands down there to change it, if you feel that you need to.

Also, depending on the flow, i would totally not just wear a panty liner, i would SO freak if even a DROP of blood got on the dress!!!!
