10 years ago today FH took me to mcdonalds for dinner (in his defense it was his first date ever and i guess he thought mcdonalds was pretty good...lol...) and while we were waiting on line to order he asked me to be his girlfriend. then we went to the movies and saw good will hunting.
i was really bummed b/c since the wedding is so close and we didn't save as much as we should have, we are putting every spare penny toward the wedding and don't have any money to go out to dinner and celebrate tonight...so this morning i asked FH if he has an extra $10 and he said he does...
so we decided tonight we're going to dinner at the same mcdonalds from our first date, and then we'll come home and watch good will hunting...and now i'm happy b/c i think doing our first date again is even more romantic than going out fancy.
for the first time since i was a kid i'm excited to eat at mcdonalds!! haha...yaaaaaaaaaay!

awww that's sweet! FH and i are doing the same thing.. lol we order wendy's $1 jr. bacon cheese burger instead of eating fancy. nice that you've been together so long.. FH and i b/c bf & gf in 99 wedding=brokeee

Awwwwwwwwwww, I think that is SO sweet. I think your first date meets mine. FH and mine was at 7/11. We were drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes while sitting on the curb. LOL.
