How much longer do u have to live there? Until the wedding? If so, I would tell them that a barking dog = very annoying and u r also annoyed that they didn't mention it to u first.

Well we planned to stay for up to five years and renovate, then sell...with the market the way it is we discussed possibly doing it in 2-3 yrs...but with all the drama FH and I have discussed moving out soon after we are married and just renting out our half

it's your house?
put down your foot and let them know that this is not okay with you.
