Me again with another Photo Booth question

Me again with another Photo Booth question

I found this great deal on a photo booth BUT they don't print! I'm torn with the idea...do I go with it to save money and hope that my guest will not mind going to those fb page to get the pictures from there? Or they can go to snap fish and buy then after the wedding.
Or do I keep shopping for one that prints?
If you were a guest at a wedding would you want prints on the spot? Would you mind hanging to wait till after the wedding to get a digital one off fb? Or wait to buy it if u want a copy?

I'm talking about $200 vs $500 btw!

My cousin did a photobooth at her wedding that did digital and prints BUT couldn't print them fast enough (photographer had just started doing photobooths)...

So, she sent them to us in our Thank Yous...and we were totally okay with that.

Just an idea.

I think we would have to pay to have them printed to give to everyone. At that point it might just pay to get one that prints...right?

But, you could print them yourselves afterwards...
CVS or Walgreens or something?

I don't know if it would cost you that much...

But sometimes to pay for it to be done outweighs the hassle of doing it afterwards, ya know?

Sending them w/ the thank yous is a great idea, but might cost you more in the long run... and be more work too. I think having prints plus digital is the way to go.

P.S. On second thought... See what size photos the company you are thinking about using offers. If it is a photostrip (which is usually around 2x6) that might to more difficult to print yourself. If you can get them printed 4x6 there are always good deals w/ Shutterfly, Snapfish or even the drugstores.

I say prints. It'll be worth it in the long run, and if you're going to do the photobooth, go all the way. Every wedding/event I've been to that has it, they're so much fun to look at when you're hungover the next morning.

This! I think everyone likes the instant gratification.

I agree that prints is the way to go. People like to walk away with the photo strip in their hands laughing and showing other guests at their table. If they get handed a business card with a web link for them to look up their photos they may be a bit disappointed. :/

Definitely prints. I love my photos from other weddings I've gone to. If I had to print them after I'd probably never get around to it and then I wouldn't see it in my house and have it make me remember your wedding.

This was my initial thought too. But then someone at work just got married and did digital only and no one cares (at least they didn't tell the bride and groom to their faces) so I figured id see if I was over thinking! Thanks ladies!!
