Meadow Club

Hi all--this is my first post, so forgive me if you''ve all answered this a million times already... have any of you had any experience with the Meadow Club in Port Jeff? I''m in Albany now, so I don''t have a chance to take a look myself yet. Just wanted some advance opinions. :-) Thanks!

I have not been inside of there in a while...but it is pretty nice on the outside and the inside..lots of pretty grounds..and they are super reasonable one of the cheapest places we checked into..the only thing I dont like is the location..right off a main road and a highway..but thats just me..i hear they have a good cocktail hr. good luck!!

Meadow Club

It is a nice place, it was our 2nd choice actually!! But Eastwind in Wading River (not much further away) won us over for 3 really big reasons.. 1st-- their prices were almost $20 less per person (big plus for us!!!) The Meadow Club basically told us that even though we were booking a weekday (July 4th next year), there was NOTHING they could do in price 2nd-- the location! As Michelle pointed out,the Meadow Club is on a VERY busy road. Eastwind is located on a main road, but a quiet section of it!! And it is easy to get to. 3rd-- the grounds blew me away, much more garden area Check out their website (it actually does the place justice) Eastwindcaterers.com

Meadow Club

I almost had a wedding there a few years ago. It is really nice. Two nice rooms. One is much larger than the other. You can do a cocktail hour outside too. The staff is really nice. The price per person is really great, around $65ish. You get a lot for your money.

Meadow Club

My fiance and I had originally booked the Meadow Club. The place is beautiful, the price was good. They have an extensive menu. We went to a show they had there with tastings and the food was yummy. They put out a nice display. They have a few nice places for pictures, gazebo, trellis, waterfall, grand staircase, etc. They even have beautiful bathrooms with attendants (this one is downstairs) and they have a fullyhandicapped acces. one upstairs (this is important to us). We changed locations for a couple of reasons: 1) it was very far from where we live (bayside, queens - about 50 miles), and 2) we really wanted a place with only one party at a time. Good luck with your decision.

Meadow Club- September 28th

We are having our reception there on 9/28th. One of my best friends from high school got married there and it was great. So it was definately on our list when we went looking around. A lot of the places we saw were very flashy which is nice but just not our style. The Meadow Club was more simple- but in a very classic way. We are having our reception in the main room and the cocktail hour in their outside porch area- which is all lite up with white lights. B/c of the room we have we also get the largest bridal suite that has an outside balcony too!! The place at night looks gorgeous- the whole place is lite up with white lights. The location is not the best but once your inside you don't notice. The price is great for what you get. The food is really good and their cocktail hour is very extensive! I grew up in Coram so the place located right near there and most of my high school years were spent in Port Jeffereson so it is great for me! I would definately put it on your list- but make sure you see as many places as you can before make your decision b/c there are so many choices out there that you want to make sure you pick the best one for you.....Good luck!

Meadow Club- September 28th

Thanks for all the help guys! I also grew up in Coram and my parents still live there, so PJ would be good. And there are a bunch of us who will be coming on the ferry, which makes PJ even better. I'll be down in September to look and hopefully book a place! Thanks again for all the help!
