Meadow Club

Hello. I am a Meadow Club bride and will be getting married there on Oct. 3. I have heard great reviews and am excited about getting married there. I am getting married outside, however, I know there is a main road right there. Has anyone had there ceremony outside there or know of someone who has? Any feedback would be appreciated. I heard they are doing renovatoins which be will done in time for my wedding so I am very excited about that. Thanks so much!

I've never attended a wedding there, but I looked at it when I was searching for halls. The garden area is right on the road - I don't know how you could shield your ceremony from it. The only thing I would think would work is if they plant tall evergreens to block the view of the road and sheild out some noise - maybe you can suggest that as part of the rennovations?

I had my reception at the Meadow Club. We took pictures in their gardens and right near the gazebo probably where your ceremony will be held. We honestly didn't hear any of the traffic that was passing by. The gazebo is more in the back and tuicked out of the way, so I don't think sound should be an issue for you.

You can always go there at the time your ceremony will be taking place and stand by the gazebo so you can hear for yourself with the road.

I AM HAVING MY RECEPTION THERE ON 3/27/04.
I AM ALSO CURIOUS AS TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING ON THE GROUNDS, BUT WE ARE GOING TO CHECK IT OUT NEXT WEEK WHEN WE HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER PAYMENT.

I'm getting married there in July and decided not to have the ceremony there for that reason. I would go there around the same time your ceremony is and check out how noisy it is. Also, since they are redoing the ground, maybe they will be putting in some more trees to block out the noise and make it more private. Good luck!
