Meadow Club - HONEST Review

Hi girls,

I forgot to post this!!

I attended a wedding at the Meadow Club on Oct 6 (Fri night)... And the food was delicious!!!! The CH was delicious and set up so perfectly, not cramped at all, great spread!!! The salad was their house (?) salad... looked like caesar salad w/cherry tomatoes (I thought it was odd b/c I was like Caesar salad w/tomatoes?) then I ate it. OMG!!! Their homemade dressing was sooooo good. Ate the whole salad, if I wasn't at a wedding, would have licked my plate.

Then for entree FH and I had the filet mignon. Again, their bearnaise was so good!!!!!!! Better than Abel Conklin's. And the filet was such a good cut of meat. So delicious... Mmmmmmm, I'm starving just thinking about it now.

Now the OK part -

cake was good not great - a little dry. Choc cake with a berry filling. Berry filling was good but cake was really dry. Girls getting married there, I guess stress that it should be moist.....

But to end on a high note - the food was absolutely delicious, the dance floor big, CH was great!!! Yay to all the ladies who booked there!!!

To brides getting married there - the cakes are from Rolling Pin Bakery in Setauket (I know this cause my BIL's GF works there), so just make sure you speak with David about your cake expectations. I've had hits and misses with their cakes, as well.
