Meadow Club/Brentwood Country Club/Larkfield Manor

Tell me about these places ladies...Brentwood has the best price because of its all inclusive. I need help deciding please!!

I've been to a family party at the Meadow Club and they did a good job. I haven't been to any of the others, though.

TMC: pretty, but not really tidy if that makes any sense. Food I've heard mixed things about. Definitely cost effective. Surprisingly really nice bridal suite.

Larkfield Manor: Marianne is very sweet. A little more upscale than TMC. Very plain interior though, so you need to be able to look past that. I wasn't able to. Their tables are oval, so that makes the small room even smaller (assuming that's where you would be). Definitely a lot for your money in terms of food, and I have heard good things about it.

BCC: sorry, haven't heard anything besides the radio commercials.

Miller Place Inn: I've actually heard it's pretty expensive. A friend of mine is (at this point) getting married there on a thursday night in July, and is paying 13k for 125 guaranteed min. I thought that was really steep for a thursday. Apparently she did too, because now the wedding may get pushed up to this October instead to have it at a restaurant/catering hall at a more reasonable price. Haven't heard too much about the food though. Similar in decor from what I've seen to TMC (country, garden, etc.)

I don't really know too much about these places. I've been to the meadow club and it seems kind of small, but it wasn't set up for a wedding.

Try doing a search on the brides review board to see what girls who have had their wedding there say.

im am getting married at TMC and love it. I didn't want a super fancy wedding and i felt this place had everything i wanted. The room straight acroos is the biggest room and i think holds up to 300...it's def great with price and the food is really good. They offer you a lot for your money. My cousin got married at Brentwood CC on a Friday night in October. It was a fun time and I thought everything was well done. The only thing I can think of that you should be aware of is the cocktail hour was done in the lobby and was pretty much standing room only. It was a little hard balancing my purse, camera, card, drink and food.

Im biased b/c Im getting married there, but I would go wirh Larkfield Manor. The food is great and in my opinion you get a lot for your money. Tell them your budget and they will def work with you.

we had our reception at Larkfield Manor and it was incredible. I have a sllideshow of pics in my video abum which might give you an idea of the place, its decor and food. take a look it might help.

That's more than their advertised (i.e. non-negotiated) price for this year. Is that with gratuity and tax and an on-site ceremony?

They are having the ceremony on site, but I don't know the details of tax and gratuity. All she said it was running her 13k, so they may go elsewhere. I thought it was pretty high, but I didn't want to push it because of money issues.
